Cebu is Where My Heart Is!!

Last Tuesday, March 5, 2011 we went to the zip lining area at Doce Pares in Busay Lahug.  We rode a motor cyle called "habal habal" and we toke an almost 30 minutes of travel from JY Square Lahug Cebu City, to the place which is the route on going to Tops.  At first I was not thrilled about the place since I was not able to see on where we were going to ride on the zip lining.  When we finally decided to take the long zip lining instead of just the short one and we ascended on the stairs, that was the time that I felt a little nervous.  I felt a little calm when we were shown on how to wear the harness with the helmet.  During our time to take the ride I was kind of hesitant but I just kept on thinking that when others can do it why can't I.  The next part that we did was to cross on the other side of the hill either only on a wire or on a wooden foot path but with a harness attached on the rope that we can grasp to hold on balance.  This is a little bit scary since we

A bellana Cebu City Sports Complex have it's Oval where any one can do brisk walking, running and jogging.  For just a minimal amount of 10 pesos you can do all the rest of whatever you want in walking, running or jogging as a way to have a cardio exercise, burn fat and be fit and healthy.  Among the sports that I have knowledge that are available to the public on this sports complex are belly dancing, taekwondo, swimming, dance sport and there is also a gym. Whenever I have my available free time I will jog and brisk walk at the Oval.

Beverly View Events Pavilion is located in Lahug Cebu City.  Just get in the street going to Sudlon and all the way up to the Taoist Temple just turn to the left side or better ask the security guard on duty for direction or else you will get lost like what happened to us when we visited this place for a wedding reception. Redemptorist Church is where most of the Roman Catholic weddings were held not because of the accessibility of this church when you are living within the city but every wedding needs to be solemn.  It is located in Cebu City itself.  Inside of this church you can see in the middle of the altar the picture of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Myself as a raised Roman Catholic  Christian , I can say that this place is worth a visit specially during Sundays where masses were held as scheduled. At the center you can see the framed image of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Last July 16, 2011, I was accompanying my parents in this church since my father was one of the wedding sponsor and he is the godfather of the bride. The time of the wedding was at 11 am and the reception followed at the Beverly View in Lahug Cebu City. "They were chitchatting before the wedding ceremony" As you can see in these pictures, this church can compete with the Big Ben in London (I guess so).  We will not

Villa Teresita is located in Talisay City Cebu Philippines.  We celebrated the 12th birthday of my niece Zabdiel on this place last June 25, 2011 which was exactly a Saturday and also happened to be my rest day of work.  In these pictures is the Sea Side Pool which is exclusively for swim suits and swimming trunks. This is the pool of Villa Asela which is located a little bit farther than Lapu Lapu City Cebu.  It is located right at the heart of Cordova Cebu.  We celebrated our anniversary of our project with the company.  It is a good place to spend your day specially during Sunday's or weekend, much more if you want to sing since they have a karaoke.  I was doing good during the karaoke time in which maybe they think that I was monopolizing the use of it.  I sing with all my might until my voice was became hoarse... ha ha..

This is the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary located at Perrelos Carcar Cebu.  When you are going to the south province of Cebu and will be approaching the town proper of Carcar, you can see the arch with the lettering of "Theotoko's Shrine".  Theotoko means Mother of God.
